Guardians are unlocked when you get your first active Infinity Token. There are 4 Guardians: Viraco - the Guardian of Luck, Cocomama - Guardian of Growth, Apoc - Guardian of Power and Inti - Guardian of Riches. The Guardians can be found at the Edge of Infinity, which is accessed via the Infinity Token icon in the top right corner of the game, or by pressing I on web versions of the game.

Each of the Guardians has 4 Powers that improve how quickly you can progress through the game. These Powers are bought with active Infinity Tokens so you will, in most cases, lose DPS in order to gain the Power benefits.

Guardian BossesEdit

Guardians are also encountered as bosses every 100 levels from level 201. Guardians drop a rare currency called Infinity Gems which can be spent in the Gem Shop or on Valor Point upgrades. When you defeat a Guardian on a level you have never beaten before, they are guaranteed to drop Infinity Gems; these pre-determined amounts are detailed on the Infinity Gems page. After receiving this first drop, defeating that level's Guardian on another run has a very small chance to drop 1 Gem. You will also unlock that Guardian's Soul Link when you defeat it for the first time, but Soul Links must be activated by spending Gems in the Gem Shop.

Each Guardian has unique dialog the first time they are defeated.

Level Guardian Image Dialog Soul Link Effect
201 Cocomama
Cocomama
"Grow, hero! You must grow much if you are to defeat the blight that sends these monsters. We Guardians will help, use the Tokens of Infinity to make us strong again. Come now, show me how your strength has grown to face the darkness." Reduces monsters needed to clear level by 1.
301 Inti
Inti
"Wealth is the key that will free us and these lands. Gold turns to evil in the wrong hands but so powerful when used justly." Doubles the 10x gold drop chance conferred by Inti's power Bounty.
401 Apoc
Apoc
"Power is the only rule. Conquer the beasts and demons sent upon this land. Use your might to strengthen the Guardians or all will fall." Increases the benefit of Apoc's power Train Heroes from 11% to 20% per level.
501 Viraco
Viraco
"Varamond spoke of the Master. Truly, it must be he that is the root of this plague. Powerful are my guardian brothers and sister but YOU can be more powerful still. You've become strong, but your greatest challenges lie ahead. Luck favours the prepared: strength, wealth and growth are your allies in this. Go forth, find and defeat this monster, forge your own luck!" Doubles the drop chance bonus of Tokens/Valor Points conferred by Lucky Roll/Star Shine.

As Conquest is a multiplier, unlike Train Heroes which is additive, it can still be a good investment even when it appears you would gain more DPS by spending tokens in Train Heroes instead. However, you must upgrade Train Heroes sufficiently for Conquest to increase your DPS rather than damage it.

Apoc Edit

Power Name Max. Level Effect Notes
Fury n/a Your taps do 10% more damage.
Train Heroes n/a You gain 11% DPS per token.

Unlike other Guardian powers, the cost of one level of Train Heroes is always 1 token. Each token spent on Train Heroes gives 11% DPS, instead of the 10% from holding an active token.

As noted in the Conquest row, Train Heroes is additive, while Conquest is multiplicative.

Wormhole 4000 Skip early levels after going infinite. After investing in Wormhole, you will begin your run with 10x the gold a single monster on the level you wormholed to would drop. This is increased according to your investment in relevant Gold-related powers.
Time Crunch 50 Spell cooldowns are decreased by 1%.

Inti Edit

Power Name Max. Level Effect Notes

The base chance for Bounty ingots is 0%; with maximum Bounty the chance is 10%. This effect stacks with the increased gold from treasure chests as well as the skills Gilded Chests and Midas Touch, making a 10x treasure chest extremely bountiful.
